Water fun on a sunny day

This has to be the perfect kiddie activity on a sunny day - all you need is a patio or wall, a couple of pots of water and paint brushes, and some budding artists. Painting, with lots of fresh air and no mess! My boy came up with some amazing representations of 'dark monsters' again, and my daughter is obviously a girl after my own heart with this teapot painting.

  1. Such a simple activity but hours of fun - just goes to show you don't need all the expensive toys that advertisers would have you believe to have a great time!

  2. Wow, you are a genius mom. What an awesome idea. I am passing that on to my girlfriend who has young twins...trust me, she needs all the ideas she can get...can you imagine, two chidren at once both three years old! It makes me tired just thinking about it.

  3. Strange how the free activities are often the most entertaining. That looks like fun!

  5. Cool teapot! My kids love that aswell, it nice to watch such a simple activity until they try feet, then hands, then chucking the water around and before you know it there is another load of washing. Maybe we should be doing naked water art!
